NEWS FLASH: Gymnasium and Fitness Center Closure Information


Gym Floor Refinishing-BRC Gymnasium Closed

The ENTIRE BRC gymnasium will be CLOSED beginning September 29 for floor refinishing on both courts. This closure should last approximately until Monday, October 4. Staff reserves the right to extend it to ensure proper drying time for the new finish. Once the work is completed, both courts will again be available. Staff is in the process of revising the gym schedule for the fall and will release that information as soon as possible. 

 BRC Fitness Center Closed

The BRC fitness center (cardio and weight equipment) will be closed on Tuesday, September 28 from 7-11 a.m. to move all equipment back into the fitness center space in preparation for gym floor refinishing the following day. This should be a brief closure, and the fitness center will be available before and immediately after the equipment has been moved.

The Bridgeton Parks and Recreation Department offers a variety of classes and programs for all ages. We offer special events as well as the following programs throughout the year:

Accessibility

Parks and recreation programs and facilities are available to people of all abilities. Please let us know if there is any accommodation that would make a program or activity accessible to you or your family. If special accommodations are needed in order to participate in a program, participants need to notify our inclusion coordinator as soon as possible, but at least 48 hours prior to the start of the program.
