Fourth of July 2023 - Event Schedule and Current Updates

Parade Information:
The parade will take place on Tuesday, July 4 at 10 a.m. The parade route begins on Lockport Drive., turns on Tideland Drive to Majella Drive, then turns westbound (left) on Natural Bridge Rd. The parade follows Natural Bridge Road and turns left into the entrance to Target and concludes in the Machinists Hall parking lot. There will be refreshments available for parade participants in the parking lot, where trophy and award winners will be announced, shortly after the conclusion of the parade.
Please note there will be several road closures the morning of the parade: Natural Bridge will close from Fee Fee Rd. to St. Charles Rock Road at 9:30 a.m. The St. Gerard neighborhood entrance from Natural Bridge will close at 9:30 a.m. as well. Streets on the parade route/parade lineup will see closures as early as 9 a.m. To help alleviate congestion, please avoid that area after 9 a.m. if you are not a parade participant.
Fourth of July Parade
Fireworks Festivities Information:
Join the City of Bridgeton for our Fourth of July Celebration at BMAC (Bridgeton Municipal Athletic Complex). Evening festivities begin at 6pm. There will be live music, also beginning at 6pm. A fireworks display begins shortly after dark, typically around 9pm.
Parking
Parking is available at Hussmann Corporation on St. Charles Rock Road. A shuttle will be provided, but please note that the shuttle is a school bus that is not equipped with a lift. There are several accessible parking spots available onsite at BMAC.
Food
Both BMAC Concession stands will be available with a limited food menu along with alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages purchases until 8:45pm. The stands accept credit card or cash. Food vendors are subject to change without notice. Event attendees are also welcome to bring their own food and beverage. Alcoholic beverages are allowed for those of legal consumption age, no glass containers, please. The current food vendors scheduled to be in attendance are:
- Ray Ray's Kettle Corn
- Kona Ice
- Juan Taco(Mexican fare)
- LeMermaid (street corn/lemonade)
- Ramblin' Rounds (mini doughnuts)
Restrooms
Permanent restrooms are located at both concession stands and in the park’s entry building, which is located behind the band shell. Event patrons are encouraged to use the restrooms and concession stand on the NORTH (newer, Dugout concession stand) side of the complex due to historically long lines on the south side of the park. There will also be portable toilets placed throughout the facility.
