The City of Bridgeton, in partnership with Great Rivers Greenway, will be participating in the Confluence Trash Bash for the seventh consecutive year. The event will be held Saturday, March 21, 2020 at 9am and will end at approximately 12pm. The purpose of the event is to clean up rivers and streams in the Mississippi and Missouri River watersheds in North St. Louis County and City; Bridgeton is one of the ten municipalities participating.
Historically, volunteers have focused their efforts on the creek running parallel to Natural Bridge Road near Target, and along the creek near Fazoli’s. With enough volunteers we will be able to add additional clean-up sites, further benefiting our city.
Bridgeton volunteers will meet on the patio of the Government Center located at 12355 Natural Bridge Road. Sign-in will start at 8:00am the day of the event. Volunteers will be given breakfast and supplies such as gloves and trash bags. Those who register through the website will also be given a Trash Bash tee shirt!
