The facility is available to all users, regardless of residency; membership pricing/daily admission rates vary depending on residency. All users much purchase an ID card on their initial visit if they wish to access the track, gymnasium, fitness center, indoor pool, or game room. In addition, some programs and events conducted by the department may only be open to residents of the city.
Unfortunately, we have a limited number of lockers for use in our facility. Therefore all items must be taken with you when you leave. For your security, we ask that you bring a lock or check one out at our front desk.

Yes, lockers are available free of charge. For the indoor pool, you may bring your own lock or check one out at the front desk of the Bridgeton Community Center. For the Family Aquatic Park, you must have two quarters which will be returned when you return the key to the locker.

General users may not bring alcohol into the facility at any time. Some exceptions are made for specific programming, and alcohol is allowed at private rentals, with an additional deposit and contract addendum for those who wish to have alcohol at their rental. Alcohol is never allowed for pool rentals, and no alcohol is allowed in any facility on Sundays.
Ages vary for different amenities within the Bridgeton Recreation Center.Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult 16 years of age or older (maximum of 5 children per adult) when using the Rec Center. Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult 16 years of age or older in the indoor pool area at all times (maximum of 5 children per adult). For children under 8, a ratio of one SWIMMING adult per 5 children must be met. Children ages 12-15 may use the fitness center after completing an orientation with fitness staff and their parent/guardian. Ages 12-13 must have a parent in the building while using the fitness equipment (after completing the orientation). Ages 14-15 may utilize the equipment on their own (after completing the orientation.

You must wear closed toe shoes and appropriate fitness related clothing, such as shorts, sweat pants, a T-shirt and tennis shoes. No jeans, belts, cutoffs or sandals are permitted.
