How old does my child have to be to use the Bridgeton Recreation Center amenities?

Ages vary for different amenities within the Bridgeton Recreation Center.

Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult 16 years of age or older (maximum of 5 children per adult) when using the Rec Center.
Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult 16 years of age or older in the indoor pool area at all times (maximum of 5 children per adult). For children under 8, a ratio of one SWIMMING adult per 5 children must be met.
Children ages 12-15 may use the fitness center after completing an orientation with fitness staff and their parent/guardian. Ages 12-13 must have a parent in the building while using the fitness equipment (after completing the orientation). Ages 14-15 may utilize the equipment on their own (after completing the orientation.
